ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a newly created position based in Melbourne. The Sales Manager will drive and build sales activity. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the opportunity allows an established forwarding business development manager to join a global business. Previous experience in Freight Forwarding Sales is imperitive.
DUTIES
• Develop and drive sales activity through a strong pipeline and productivity
• Nurture existing and develop new verticals for the business to target
• Work with Business Development Managers to guide and mentor the team
• Build professional relationships with regional and global contacts
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years’ of hands-on selling freight forwarding in the Australian market
• Previous experience leading a team is an advantage
• Ability to demonstrate selling experience within the market
• Ambitious to help drive the commercial vision of the business
