Job DescriptionAbout this opportunityThe role is primarily responsible for managing, retaining and growing sales for Pact Retail Accessories in Australia & New Zealand.You will bring a strong commercial acumen to extract maximum benefit for our customers & our business. Working with and supporting colleagues across the business from Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Asia Operations you will be responsible for aligning our contractual commitments to retailers (e.g. DIFOT, Monthly Reporting, ESG reporting, Innovation etc.) as well as developing a pipeline of activity for future opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will be to:- Work closely with major customers, employees and external contractors to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with agreed requirements and specification
- Effectively negotiate supply agreements that enhance profit and Sales value
- Prepare and present detailed reporting and analysis on business activities, performance against targets and market and industry opportunities
- Prepare and submit supply tenders and proposals that deliver a competitive and valuable service offering.
- Identify industry trends and product trends and/or innovations and develop those ideas into new revenue streams
- Work collaboratively with experienced PRA team members and develop a thorough understanding of the businesses products, freight, logistics, costings, legal (IP), Asia network, apparel supply chain etc.
- Comply with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures across all C&I and customer sites.
Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Proven sales leadership experience to maintain or drive market share with a collaborative and enabling approach.
- Solid operational and sales acumen. Manufacturing background would be an advantage.
- Proven aptitude in sales and implementation of sales programs and marketing plans
- Ability to develop sound working partnerships within all levels of internal and industry organisational structures
- Confident, respectful and collaborative style with well-versed networking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid Microsoft Office Skills, SAP experience is desirable
Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in a Sales, Marketing, Commerce or Environmental Science is an advantage
- Experience with retailer international apparel or footwear supply chain / sourcing is beneficial OR Experience with plastics injection moulding or tool making is an advantage
