We’re looking for an experienced, energetic, and proactive professional that has significant knowledge within the packaging industry and is looking to consolidate their career. Reporting to the New Business – Sales Manager, you will be well versed in building strong client relationships, thrive on the thrill of the chase, enjoy working as part of a strong team and be a natural closer.

About the role:
- Sales Opportunities: Identify, generate, and qualify new sales opportunities to expand our business reach.
- Sales Pipeline: Develop and maintain a robust new business sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of potential clients.
- Customer Acquisition: Target new customers across a diverse range of industries, broadening our market presence.
- Account Management: Manage a small portfolio of existing customers, fostering strong relationships and promoting customer retention.
- Performance Targets: Exceed budgetary targets and KPI objectives, demonstrating a strong drive for results.
- Customer Satisfaction: Exceed customer expectations by providing effective solutions to their needs.
- Customer Experience: Ensure an optimal customer experience by managing quotations, artwork and design, and samples for your customers. You will be supported by a team of experienced estimators, packaging engineers, and Internal staff to help customers find the right solution and transition their business.
- Cross-Industry Engagement: Work across different industries and engage with all levels of company stakeholders, showcasing adaptability and strong communication skills.
- Networking: Engage in networking and customer entertainment in social environments, building strong professional relationships.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in developing lasting relationships and have the ability to influence and drive sales excellence. You will be able to utilise your experience to proactively drive new business opportunities that offer customers solutions and work within industries that align with corporate strategies.
- Experience: Over 5 years in packaging or a related industry.
- Attitude: Positive, proactive, and can-do.
- Network: Developed a large network of contacts requiring packaging.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, closing, communication, and organisational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office, use of a CRM and general computer skills.
- Track Record: Proven success in driving and growing a healthy sales pipeline.
- Management: Experience in managing and achieving budget with a portfolio of customer accounts.
- Presentation: Well-presented.
