AddressOur client is a leading independent Australian-owned supplier of a comprehensive range of leading products for the livestock production and feed manufacturing industries. They supply raw materials and specialty ingredients to the animal feed, pet food and veterinary medicine sectors.
Role
You will be responsible for driving sales and profit growth across existing and new customers. The customer base will be the Stock Feed, Pet Food and Veterinary sectors across Australia.
Responsibilities
- Engage in sales and marketing duties to existing customers within the Stockfeed and Animal Nutrition sectors
- Build customer relationships to increase share of existing customer business and win new customers for your portfolio
- Promote existing range of products to customer base and work to develop and introduce additional products to our range
- Make regular contact with customers (face-to-face, phone, email etc.) and provide progress reports on an ongoing basis
- Market knowledge in the stockfeed and animal nutrition industry
- Minimum three years’ sales experience, preferably in the stockfeed and animal nutrition industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Animal Nutrition, Science or Business a plus
- An analytical and commercial mindset together with a proactive customer service attitude
- Strong IT skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Office)
The position can be based at either Sydney office (Macquarie Park) or Brisbane office (Spring Hill). There is a preference that the position be based in Sydney. Melbourne is also a possibility for the right candidate. A good remuneration package is on offer, including salary, superannuation and car.
