About the role:
You’ll be based in Canberra completing face to face sales calls in the Canberra region and fortnightly overnight sales trips to the Shoalhaven & South Coast.
A typical day would see you on the road visiting between 8 - 10 current customers & prospecting new business presenting them our portfolio of brands, taking orders, organising deliveries, completing administration tasks & email follow up. Developing and following a monthly journey plan to ensure that all our clients are receiving regular visitation and we are actively seeking out new business opportunities.
Your goals are to grow our customer base and sales by providing exceptional products & service to our clients, developing long term, trustworthy and mutually beneficial relationships.
- Sales revenue & distribution targets
- New business acquisition
- Brand ambassador for our partner breweries
- Visitation to existing accounts
- Presenting deals, new products and limited release products to accounts
- Growth of distribution & volume per outlet in existing accounts
- Develop mutually beneficial relationships with clients
- Negotiate ranging, pricing, and promotional activities
- Email & EDM communication with clients
- Customer product sampling
- Activate and host events/tastings both On and Off Premise, including festivals
- Administrative reporting to keep our customer records up to date
About you:
- A great attitude and friendly outgoing demeanour
- Have strong work ethic, value honesty & respect
- A passion for the liquor retail, hospitality, craft brewing or alcoholic beverage industries
- Experience in sales ideally within the alcoholic beverage industry, FMCG or similar
- Experience in liquor retail / hospitality supervision or management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Well planned, detailed & organised
- Hold a valid drivers licence
- Hold a valid RSA prior to commencement
