You will be working closely with the Division Manager to enhance and promote products to ensure all sales opportunities are harnessed whilst providing a high level of customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and growing existing customer base
- Identifying customers’ needs
- Selling both new equipment and spare parts
- Planning & undertaking weekly and monthly sales calls to generate sales
- Handling customer and sales enquires via phone, email and web
- Following up and providing quotes
- Keeping up to date with products information & pricing
- Updating & maintaining database
- Keeping up with industry market trends
- Prior B2B sales experience ideally from the construction (trade, building products, scaffolding or hire equipment) or mining sectors
- Excellent communication skills
- Be competent with MS Office
- Be highly organized with a can-do-attitude
- Strong mechanical aptitude
