- *Objective:** The Inside Sales Representative works with Australian-based customers, creating compelling value propositions around AWS products and services to help deliver on their desired outcomes.
Engaging with business and technical leaders, your ability to uncover opportunities and align them with potential solutions will be key to building the relationships and trust needed, to enable growth in AWS. General Functions and responsibilities
- Develop and execute against a territory sales plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust sales pipeline, including opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business in untapped customers.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS over the phone / Google meet.
- Analyze metrics and data from your accounts to help evolve your strategy.
- Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
- Work strategically with AWS consulting and technology partners to effectively deliver scale and end-user value to customers.
- Assist customers in identifying use cases for priority adoption of Amazon Web Services as well as best practice implementations.
- Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails / social media
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Perform effective online demos for prospects Essential criteria
- Proven Inside Sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialling dozens of calls per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Teamwork
- Contribution to the team reflected in flexibility, working with others, communication and completion of tasks.

- Focuses on outcomes for the Business and the ability to meet customer needs and requirements.

Follow through and completion of tasks. Preferred criteria
- Experience in sales cloud computing or SaaS (e.g., applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, data), as well as cloud market and competitive dynamics.
But not a MUST and looking to get into Technology sales.
- Relevant vendor certification
- Experience in tech consulting work environments.
