The Role:
As a Sales Representative for New Balance in Perth WA, your primary responsibility is to drive sales and profitability within your assigned accounts and territories, focusing on New Balance footwear, apparel, accessories, and equipment categories. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic growth plans, maintaining strong customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the brand in the region.
- Achieve and exceed personal sales budgets and operating profits, plan and execute strategic growth programs for major accounts/groups and deliver engaging product range presentations to showcase New Balance offerings comprehensively.
- Maintain regular contact with accounts, conduct educational presentations tailored to corporate accounts, and ensure compliance with national marketing campaigns and point-of-sale requirements.
- Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager and Key Account Managers to track budgets, support corporate stores, and prepare weekly sales reports, communicate market feedback, and contribute to forecasting processes.
- Support Regional Sales Manager in sales forecasting activities, provide feedback on future programs, and continuously enhance product knowledge of New Balance and competitor brands.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the sports apparel industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in sales reporting and analysis.
- Team player with a results-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of New Balance products and competitor brands is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is desirable.
