This is embedded into our business model and the ways we work- it's all part of the DNA that has led to over 100 years of success globally.The Impact You'll Make;Are you a dynamic and results driven individual with a passion for sales?As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling and stimulating demand for Consumer Business Unit products with 80's customers in their territory, targeting ‘front of store' contacts to achieve and/or exceed sales budgets through achievement of sales objectives; positive customer feedback and achievement of agreed customer service levels; maintain call cycle accuracy; and expense control.A fully maintained vehicle will be provided as you will be expected to travel up to 40% of the monthLocation - Perth and regional Western Australia.Key Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed territory sales target through the efficient/productive territory performance/review call cycle;
- Assess and manage customer requirements to deliver on the agreed customer service levels e.g. Vendor Instore Support (VIS) requirements, new lines, additional display space, range reviews, GAP Reports;
- Maintain call accuracy including associated data, customer review 80/20, growth in business and follow up on any enquiries;
- Analyse territory, market, sales and customer performance data to enable alignment of sales plans as well as resolve issues and identify improvements;
- Provide regular reporting on activities and targets as directed by the business, inclusive of forecasting (revenue, gross margin, expenses), product requirements, opposition activity and actions to retain & increase market share;
- Maintain accurate and timely expense control;
- Manage, direct and develop Merchandiser team members to build a skilled high-performing team; and
- Role model & champion the ITW Business Model, culture & values, actively participate in functional or division safety plans and initiatives, and reduce complexity by use of the ITW Toolbox.
- Territory Sales Representative experience;
- Ability to confidently close sales, expand business and establish new accounts;
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills;
- Solutions selling adeptness, understanding the value of the complete offer for a range of products and services that focuses on the overall company benefit;
- High standard of oral and written communication including the ability to demonstrate products;
- Numerical literacy and good analytical skills; and
- Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
