Excel Packaging is a family owned and operated South Australian business that focuses on cardboard carton manufacturing. Since 2006, the business has grown to support the cardboard packaging needs of hundreds of businesses within SA, and has recently expanded internal capacity to produce & deliver cartons Australia wide.
About the Role
To support rapid growth, the new Sales Representative will play a critical role in supporting sales across the business, engaging with new and existing clients, generating quotes and working closely with the Sales and Operations team to deliver positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase market share and revenue, via new customer sales orders
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any issues
- Develop new business sales opportunities and account management
- Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing key customers
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, and the Sales & Operations teams to ensure the highest quality product design, and supply to customer specifications
- Sales activity reporting
- Prospect new business opportunities
About You
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales related role within the printing or cardboard packaging industry preferred
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- An ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and exposure to customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- Clear, personable communicator with exceptional negotiation and relationship building capability
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Experience in cold calling
- Work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
The Offer
- A full time salary package commensurate with experience of $65,000 - $70,000, plus Superannuation.
