Due to an increase in EWP business, we are now looking to recruit a Sales Representative in our Melbourne branch located in Laverton North.

This position would suit a self-motivated person who is looking for a sales career. Training and mentorship will be offered to the right candidate and therefore sales experience is not necessarily essential. If you are looking to take the next step from your existing customer service role, here is your opportunity!
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for driving sales and developing new business. You will need to be comfortable walking onto major job sites as this role is primarily site-based servicing the construction industry.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Drive sales through new business development
- Build strong relationships with existing customer base while managing client requirements
- Sales administration encompassing quoting and reporting.
- Drive revenue growth to meet and exceed targets
- Assist in identifying, qualifying and monitoring potential new leads and opportunities.
What is needed to be successful in this role?
- Experience in a sales role would be highly regarded, however training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn
- A team player who is positive, proactive and results driven
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment effectively, meet deadlines and successfully prioritise work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of valid Australian driver’s licence
