The Opportunity
Australian Moulding and Door Company is seeking a Sales Representative to assist with our growth strategy to increase market share across Melbourne predominantly in our Trade and Wholesale markets.
This role will see you establish winning relationships with our customers, builders or homeowners, selling custom made to order products for their new project, home or home improvements. You’ll be proactive in identifying and converting new customers while maintaining relationships with current and future customers across Melbourne. As a professional Sales Representative you will be provided with all the tools and product training to see you succeed in the role.
About you
- You will have a diverse sales experience including in-field sales, strategic & growth selling techniques, successful customer conversions that MUST gained in the building or timber trade related industry. You may even be a qualified builder or chippy looking to get off the tools to leverage your product knowledge and skills.
- Ideally you will have previous experience working with made to order product within the constructive industry would be highly advantageous or have a willingness and ability to learn and develop technical knowledge relating to doors and mouldings
- You will have a natural and professionally developed ability to effortlessly establish relationships with our customers to maintain rapport
- Structured, with strong attention to detail and experience in successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets /KPIs, outstanding organizational and time management skills and driven to succeed.
- Your positive attitude is supported by you being a self- motivated individual who enjoys collaborating with teams to ensure desired commercial outcomes.
- You have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrable ability to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- You are highly computer literate with extensive experience with the Microsoft suite of office products, a sales CRM and an ERP for quoting and sales process management
