About the business and the role

Hornibrooks Tools & Fasteners is a supplier to the building and Construction Industry. We supply construction Fasteners and  Power Tools  as well as having an in house repair service. Due to continued growth we now require a full time Sales Representative to liaise with current customers and obtain new business – both with new customers, and expanding our range with current customers. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting directly to the company's Management, the duties for this role will include:

  • Account management of current customers
  • New business development
  • Identifying and contacting key decision makers at potential customers

Regular reporting to Management with sales reports information

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will have:

  • Sales experience in the building industry is preferred, not essential 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Be self motivated, well organised with a positive attitude
  • High level problem solving capabilities
  • Sound record of building relationships with buying personnel
