Cheil Australia is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join our team in the Consumer Electronics department. As a Permanent - Full Time position, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to excel in sales within the vibrant consumer electronics industry. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Sales Representative is an integral part of the Samsung brand who will actively sell the range of Samsung branded products within retail stores across Home Appliances, and Audio-Visual categories.
You will be a Samsung Ambassador in your territory ensuring sales targets are exceeded, product experience is perfect & development of strong business relationships at all levels in store and channel.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Utilise reporting tools to keep stores updated on performance, identify areas of opportunity and negotiate outcomes to achieve objectives.
- Develop business strategies & plans based on sales, advocacy & display opportunities.
- Assist in any store events, VIP visits or training nights.
- Maintain retail shop floor of new and existing products to maintain Samsung’s products and instore space.
- Implement and maintain merchandising standards across the Samsung Consumer Electronic products
- Driving the relationship of the Retail Partner to secure additional presence and sales opportunities
About you
- You will come from a sales environment, preferably within the consumer electronics category.
- You will have experience in a fast moving sales environment promoting a number of different products.
- Proven experience with building long-term and valuable relationships.
- You will have a valid driver’s license and your own vehicle.
- You will also have experience in retail merchandising and value adding to stores
Experience
- Proven experience in sales within the consumer electronics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of consumer electronics products and market trends
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Customer-focused approach with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Aptitude for problem-solving and overcoming objections
- Flexibility to travel around your dedicated zone and industry events as required
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset
