Position Title: Senior Business Development Representative

What you'll do?

  • Qualify ecommerce and ICT businesses from our lead generation output.

  • Ability to manage the sales life cycle (Hubspot, Stakeholder Alignment, AE/BDR Alignment) for key e-commerce and ICT business accounts

  • Prospect potential clients through cold calls, emails and LinkedIn to set up meetings for our Growth Capital Managers.

  • Present Wayflyer to potential clients and improve Wayflyer’s market share in Australia.

  • Identify client needs.

  • Build trusting relationships with clients.

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.

Why you?

  • Over two year’s experience in a Senior Business Development or growth capital role 

  • Proven ability to exceed targets

  • Hold a related masters’ degree

  • ICT / E-commerce product and industry knowledge 

  • Strong customer communication skills

  • Experience with outbound prospecting

  • You're willing to go the extra mile.

  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, previous startup experience a plus (not a necessity).

  • You have an ownership mentality, always seeking to improve Wayflyer's prospects, even in functions outside of sales.

  • You're independent, ambitious and self-motivated.

  • You're fluent in English.

You’ve probably done it at companies of different shapes, sizes and industries. Given what we do, experience in financial services, fintech and business-to-business organisations is particularly interesting to us.

Salary: A$85,000 - A$95,000 + commission
