YOUR NEW ROLE
In this empowering role as a key member of the winning BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT team (of 8), reporting to the CEO, you will be initiating and building new relationships and sourcing and driving new business for the firm from different locations across Sydney primarily in pop up stands in various shopping/retail centres.
You will love the stimulating variety, challenge and the rewards:
- Driving lead generation by engaging with prospects (passers-by in shopping centres);
- Building rapport and doing a fact find+analysis of types of legal services they may require;
- Doing a professional presentation providing information about the law firm, types of legal services it provides and how their lawyers can help+ answering any queries;
- Scheduling a free initial consultation for the prospect with a solicitor who can best help them;
- Keeping+ entering records of all customer details onto database/IT systems and liaising with solicitors and prospects to ensure successful ‘sales conversion’ to a fee paying client after initial consultation

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- are EITHER: 1) a sales professional with MINIMUM 2 years (preferably more) proven success record in a sales/business development roles in the Professional Services industry eg legal, health, financial, medical and/or insurance industriesl OR 2) a current or ex-practising lawyer/paralegal with proven client engagement/marketing/business development experience seeking a alternative legal career;
- have proven high sales ‘conversion’ rate (converting the majority of prospects/leads to actual clients);
- are a success/results-driven high achiever with a sales flair/high commercial acumen, are passionate about helping people and have a positive ‘can-do+ whatever it takes’ attitude;
- have outstanding communication (especially listening)+relationship building/people skills;
- have a keen genuine interest in the law/legal industry (ESSENTIAL);
- are hungry for a long-term successful career with a market leading law firm;
- are professionally presented+ geographically mobile (happy to work in different locations across Sydney).
