With a focus on sales, understanding key measurement, industrial automation and technical measurement equipment the role is responsible for:
About The Role
- Instrument selection for both Yokogawa and partner products from initial customer enquiry, following direct liaison with customer or supply of Datasheets.
- Quotation preparation, project proposal, tender review, and regular follow up of your Quotations and proposals
- Technical clarification and actioning of customer orders, including local purchase orders, vendor data preparation and other associated tasks.
- Using the CRM database for recording client sales activities
Key Requirements:
- Degree (or trade qualification) in either Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Chemical engineering
- High level of knowledge and experience in their application of instrumentation product families – Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, liquid and gas analysers.
- Previous experience in a sales environment, assisting customers with their orders and generation of quotations.
- Knowledge dealing with partners and manufacturers –Manifolds, Seals, Gauges, etc.
- Ability to consistently exceed internal and external customer expectations and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship building
- Be tech savvy, self-starter with excellent planning and organisational skills
This role is a maternity leave cover position for 12 months, with possible extension.
