As a result of continued business growth, Herbs of Gold have created an exciting new senior position within the company for a People & Culture Manager. This position will report to the CEO and will be based at Head Office in Kirrawee, in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney. This is a broad ranging position that will be at the forefront of leading change and developing best practice people and culture frameworks. Currently the business employs approximately 60 staff.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training programs.
- Mentor and coach business leaders to effectively develop their teams.
- Promote and manage employee engagement and satisfaction programs.
- Provide operational HR support across the business.
- Report HR metrics and analyse and present data to senior management.
- Ensure all HR compliance requirements are met.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Relations, or other business related studies.
- 5+ years of broad generalist HR experience.
- Extensive employee relations and change management experience.
- Proven ability to influence and coach managers to drive high performance.
- Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Modern Award System and related employment laws.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Desirable: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, process improvement experience, coaching skills.
