SalaryWe are seeking an experienced Sales Territory Manager to Join our South Australian Field Sales Team.
Pacific Optics is an award winning and leading supplier of General Merchandise, Phone Accessories and Sunglasses in the Petrol and Convenience channel in Australia.
The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Field Sales Team as a Territory Manager, servicing a variety of customers and channels in the Southeast part of the State between Adelaide, Renmark and Mount Gambier.
This role will have you out on the road daily actively servicing our existing customer base, building relationships with store and area managers, as well as sourcing new business opportunities.
Regional travel is a requirement of this role with approximately 12 nights away out of 42 days (6-week call cycle).
As an important member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales through the territory. You will be selling in all our iconic brands inclusive of WalknTalk, Aerial, Fuse, On the Tools Workwear and more to achieve key State and overall business objectives and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining, retaining, and growing relationships
- Achieve Sales budgets via best-in-class execution across our vast range of products.
- Manage customers’ orders via a vendor refill model.
- Promoting new product ranges, including showing product samples
- Merchandising to high standards.
- Following up customer inquiries on pricing, product, and account discrepancies.

We are looking for someone with:
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal and non-verbal)
- Sales fundamentals (presentation, ability to influence, build rapport)
- Positive attitude and highly self-motivated
- Ability to work autonomously.
- An eye for detail and presentation
- A passion for driving long distances.
- Previous field sales experience
- A full Australian driver’s license
- Must be comfortable driving a Light Commercial Van
