Due to internal movement, we have an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Functional Consultant to join the team. Our salesforce team are an amazing bunch of individuals that focus on constantly improving our one org for better business. Based in our Sydney HQ they love to share knowledge and ideas on how to get the most out of the platform.
In this role you will utilise a blend of technical proficiency, business acumen and communication skills to effectively translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and user-friendly Salesforce solutions. You will be working directly with stakeholders across the business including our sales leadership.
Day to day you will be responsible for:
- Analyse, design and Implement Salesforce solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of the Sales team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements and translate these into Salesforce functionalities.
- Create detailed functional designs and map business requirements to Salesforce features. Design data models, user interfaces and workflows to optimise the Salesforce platform for the Sales team.
- Use declarative tools and code to configure and customise Salesforce to align with the Sales team’s needs. A configuration first approach is required, with custom code to deployed only when absolutely necessary.
- Working with the Technology Development team, design and assist with the implementation of integrations to ensure seamless bi-directional data flow between Salesforce and other business systems.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Salesforce in a technical capacity.
- Proven ability to gather and analyse business requirements, translate them to technical solutions and communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical resources.
- Proven experience managing a request engagement and prioritisation process.
- Appropriate Salesforce certifications.
- In depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customisation and administration.
- Familiarity with APEX development and frameworks.
