THE ROLE
Symbio is looking for a Sample Management Officer to join our Sydney laboratory. The Sample Management Team is responsible for receiving, logging-in and distributing samples to our laboratories.
The duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Receipt of samples and the entry of relevant details into our laboratory information management system (LIMS),
- Liaising with clients to clarify information in respect to their samples,
- Organisation of sample collection kits and their dispatch to clients as required,
- Assistance with sample preparation as required,
- Assistance with management of sample storage and disposal.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate would ideally:
- Have strong attention to detail,
- Possess excellent computer and communication skills,
- Have background knowledge in a science or laboratory discipline.

This position is full-time and involves a roster. The successful candidate must be able to work rostered weekends and occasional public holidays.
