About this opportunity:You will be an integral part of our Enterprise Business Systems team based at our South Brisbane head office. The objective of this role is to provide both support and project services to the SAP Applications and SAP technical teams.You will have an opportunity to work in a long term permanent role where you will be an integral part of our company success. You will plan, develop, deliver and maintain our
SAP ABAP customizations, user exits, reports and other ABAP centric areas within our SAP ecosystem.Relevant skills and experience include:
- University level education with background in either computer science, information
- 10+ years of experience working on SAP at a Developer level.
- Understanding functional and technical aspects of Client System.
- Technical professional with at least 3+ full cycle SAP implementation, 2+ upgrade projects, 3+ support projects.
- Able to assess and manage technical risks and issues.
- Capability to learn new products and undertake additional responsibilities.
- Proficient in providing input for Pre-Design Authority and Design Authority.
- Manage technical architecture analysis, design, build, test and deploy for:
- Development architecture
- Ensure future state operations architecture is aligned to client expectations.
- Manage all technical SAP solution deliverables in collaboration with project members. Ensure ABAP coding standards are aligned to customer expectations.
- Advise on technical approach for all systems integrating to SAP.
- Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule in collaboration with the Operations SAP change and release manager.
- Manage all SAP technical changes.
- Must be experienced in troubleshooting issues and performance tuning (Mandatory).
- ABAP programming knowledge is mandatory along with good expertise in Fiori/UI
- Be able to work in BAU environment under timeline pressures.
- Experience with Change and Release management in an SAP Environment (desirable).
- Strong desire and motivation to deliver exceptional solutions that are of high quality and high business value.
- Ability to communicates the benefits and win support for ABAP work with many technical and non-technical stakeholders in the organisation
- Ability to build relationships and work with peers within the organisation and within IT to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the organisation.
