Our Client is a large Queensland Government department that aims to create better health care for Queenslanders and is responsible for the overall management of the public health system. They are looking for a Brisbane-based SAP HR/Payroll Functional Expert join their team on a 6-month contract!About the Role
As the SAP HR/Payroll Functional Expert, you will provide expert advice on Troubleshooting Problem Tickets that have been allocated to projects within the Corporate Technology Services business area. You will apply advanced Troubleshooting skills to dissect the highly customed existing system coding to understand and fix the issues faced by the end users. You will work collaboratively with Business Analysts and SAP Functional consultants to enhance HR/Payroll systems to ensure design and development activities are completed to meet service delivery objectives.You will be responsible for:
- Troubleshoot, identify root cause, and provide Design to fix the relevant issues, adapt/change coding and test SAP in accordance with system standards and documentation requirements
- Training users of SAP in accordance with the changed functionality and operating procedures.
- Document system configuration, technical specifications and procedures
- Proactively assess the effectiveness of the SAP system and liaise with stakeholders to recommend modifications.
- Provide advice and support in the completion of quality reviews of deliverables.
- Provide expert advice on changes to the solution design to ensure the system design remains robust, fit for purpose, and meets requirements.
- Demonstrated wide range and high level of analytical and problem-solving skills in SAP HR in Organisational Management, Payroll (Australian-based system), HR to Fi/Co integration, Time Management, Personnel Administration, CATS, ESS/MSS.
- Proven experience in formulating, documenting and implementing functional and technical specifications.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the support and configuration of large-scale HR SAP Solutions. The product set includes SAP, Workbrain and Finance/Controlling (Fi/Co).
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and award structures in Government.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience in SAP ECC6-EHP8 with overall 10+ years of ABAP experience.
