The role is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of S4/Hana centralised solution and migration from multiple SAP legacy instances.
As business analyst you will be responsible for providing financial and configuration expertise in SAP modules as part of this roll out for my Government client.
The role is the primary source of knowledge in all financial practices, ensuring that project related requirements are correctly configured in SAP.
The SAP business analyst/project lead provides in-depth insights and advice on the functional work stream and works closely with the data migration team and key business stakeholders in line with deployment and implementation activities and timelines.
About the Role
- Define the project scope, objectives, milestones, success criteria and detailed project plan
- Build and manage a team of 5
- Managing project resources and coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Conduct and participate in regular project status meetings Provide regular updates to senior management
- Assist with process and data mapping
- Support day to day project activities on the implementation of defined financial business processes into the new S/4Hana system
- Provide advice to the Finance Lead and SAP implementation team on financial system issues, requirements and processes
- Assists in any necessary reviews and assessment of financial system impacts and/or requirements to ensure business requirements will be met
- Interpret or determine potential areas for development and process change in liaison with the SAP implementation team to deliver a fit for purpose solution
- Contribute to the continual improvement of the new financial systems and reporting tools to provide effective financial decision support to management.
About You
- Previous project leadership experience required with a proven track record of successful delivery on time and within budget
- 5+ years solid experience in SAP modules
- Experience in large and complex SAP project/program implementations in government
- Experience in financial systems data management, data transformation and migration within a project context
- Excellent communication and team skills, flexibility to adapt in the face of change and day to day project challenges
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Previous finance experience preferable
