SalaryReporting into the Group Head of Applications we have a newly created permanent opportunity available for a SAP Manufacturing Product Owner. This role sits within our Group Digital business unit and has responsibility for the operational and functional leadership of core manufacturing applications across the business. This includes plant maintenance and quality platforms.
You will collaborate with service partners and stakeholders to ensure the functional and operational excellence of core SAP Manufacturing functions and applications. Key aspects of your role include providing governance oversight, defining technology roadmaps, supporting business function and project teams, fostering a unified team culture, and driving a holistic approach to risk management.
Key responsibilities
- Provide governance oversight, set standards, and develop technology roadmaps for enterprise manufacturing and operations capability.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of architectural standards to ensure optimal performance of manufacturing applications.
- Support business function and project teams by identifying and managing risks, overseeing schedules, and ensuring the quality of technical deliverables.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration and unity among key stakeholders, including service providers, to drive alignment and success.
- Lead agile initiatives within the Asahi manufacturing and operations function, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and manage roadmaps of activities to deliver agreed-upon capabilities within the functional domain.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in project management with a focus on manufacturing and operations.
- Expertise in SAP manufacturing solutions and familiarity with digital products and processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment (preferred).
- Ideally, experience within the FMCG industry
