We are seeking a motivated and results-driven salesperson to join our team in Brisbane.
You will be responsible for generating leads, negotiating contracts, and building solid relationships with all clients. Your extensive experience and knowledge of the construction industry and the market, along with your existing client base and relationships with builders and construction companies, will be instrumental in driving sales revenue and contributing to our continued success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify and prospect potential leads through various channels, including your own established relationships and connections, cold calling, networking, and referrals, and convert them into successful contracts.
- Nurturing relationships with existing and potential clients at all levels of their companies.
- Attend meetings and site visits to understand client needs and requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Present and demonstrate our services to prospective customers, highlighting our scaffolding solutions and services.
- Review project specifications and drawings to understand the scope of work.
- Respond to tenders and RFPs, submit bids to clients within specified deadlines.
- Prepare, send out, and follow up on quotations.
- Negotiate and finalise contracts of projects, and close sales deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are executed smoothly, closely monitoring progress and maintaining effective communication with relevant parties.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales transactions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations and best practices, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
Successful candidates will need to have the following skills and attributes:
- Experience in a previous sales role with quantifiable results
- Experience in Customer Relationships Management Databases
- MUST have building/construction experience (scaffolding experience is an advantage)
- Having an existing client base and established relationships with clients in the building industry is a huge advantange!
- Be proactive and passionate in providing exceptional customer service
- Be confident and self-motivated with a drive for achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Valid and clean driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
