About the Role:
Reporting to the National Account Manager, this role will be responsible for representing our brand to retail and foodservice customers and store owners, forming strong and trusting connections in Brisbane and QLD. This is a full-time role with an expectation of 4 days on the road building the business and 1 day doing sales admin. (the split might change depending on the workload/travel in the given week)
Major Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Maintain and grow existing customer base.
- Driving new product distribution targets.
- Achieve annual sales and profit KPI’s and meet quarterly customer growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities to increase sales via increased ranging or new customers across independent retail and foodservice.
- Day to day Account management of independent retail/foodservice groups in QLD.
- Attend trade shows, organise, and deliver samples.
- Liaise weekly with Customer service team in Melbourne and 3PL partner in QLD to ensure smooth supply of products to QLD customers.
- Work co-operatively and competitively within a busy sales team.
About You:

Essential:
- Experience in a selling function, preferably within FMCG and / or Foodservice accounts.
- Established relationships and sound knowledge of Queensland retail and / or foodservice landscape.
- Proven success in new business development and territory management.
- Impeccable communication and negotiation skills
- Strong multi-tasking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Well-presented and highly motivated.
- Entrepreneurial / outside-the-box thinking and initiative.
- Team first attitude
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications, ideally in business
- Specific experience in dealing with Metcash groups.
- Specific experience in dealing with major foodservice distributors like PFD / Bidfood.
