A highly reputable heating and ventilation company on the North Shore is looking for an Administration Assistant for their family-owned business. Within walking distance of the train station, this organisation is in a great location and offers a high level of autonomy and responsibility for the successful candidate. Your new role
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Face to face customer service
- Answering phones, responding to emails and letters of correspondence
- Creating quotes from plans, raising purchase orders and invoices in Xero
- Scheduling service jobs and installations for the external trades team
- Occasional movement of stock and deliveries
- Responsibility of opening and closing the office
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally, you'll have previous experience in Xero, although training will be provided
- Strong experience with MS Office and able to troubleshoot day to day IT issues
- Able to work independently in a small team
- Professional communication skills and able to deal with enquiries from high value customers
- Previous experience of preparing quotes from plans will be highly beneficial

You'll receive detailed and thorough on the job training from a passionate business owner who wants to grow the organisation. Once trained and feeling confident, you'll have lots of autonomy and trust placed in you to keep the office running smoothly. In future this may also include training new members of staff. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This is an office-based role and does not offer opportunities for hybrid working.
