About our schools
Candlebark (Romsey) and Alice Miller School (Macedon) are two school campuses based in the Macedon Ranges. We educate approximately 400 students across the two schools. The school is in its 18th year with waiting lists for most year levels.
Working for us as a bus driver and maintenance officer
We are seeking one or more bus drivers/maintenance officers to join our in-house team. You would be responsible for the morning and/or afternoon bus runs at one or both campuses. Our bus fleet services the Macedon Ranges, including Sunbury, Kyneton, Woodend, Macedon, Romsey, Lancefield and Newham.
When you are not driving buses, you will be providing support the school maintenance teams. Tasks include gardening, lawn maintenance, building, plumbing and electrical. You will be supervised by our Property Managers with tasks allocated according to your skill level.
What we're looking for
You will need to have:
- a medium rigid licence or be prepared to get one
- the ability to drive a manual vehicle
- a current Working with Children Check or be prepared to apply for one
- excellent customer service skills
- safety consciousness
- skills in basic building and/or gardening
