At Blackfriars, we believe that providing nutritious and delicious meals is essential to fueling our students' learning and growth. Our School Canteen is a hub of activity, serving a diverse range of students and staff with tasty and wholesome food options.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
- 39 Weeks per annum
Responsibilities: As a School Canteen Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our canteen. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the canteen area.
- Providing excellent customer service to students and staff.
- Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Helping with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Supporting the Canteen Manager in various tasks as needed.
Qualifications: We're looking for candidates who possess:
- A passion for food and a willingness to learn.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
