Customvac Australia, established in 1983, is a supplier of grain and feed handling/transport equipment used by customers on the farm, bulk grain handlers and in a variety of processing plants. The business also supplies grain aeration systems capable of meeting the needs of a range of storage sizes and designs. Our Head Office is based in Toowoomba with workshop and distribution store, servicing customers Australia wide and into New Zealand and SE Asia. The workshop predominantly fabricates and maintains Walinga Trailers.
The business has an established Customer Base on the Eastern Seaboard and requires a regional representative to maintain and expand the Queensland & NSW market. The position will be focussed on the Agricultural sectors of the product range.
The position will be based in Toowoomba and will necessitate frequent travel. The role will suit a motivated individual with the ability to work independently while maintaining company values. To excel in this role you will need to be well organised with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will require considerable experience and skill in the following areas;
- Maintain existing customer relationships
- Identifying and developing new customers
- Provision of technical product support
- Preparation and manning of field day and industry stands.
- Development and Implementation of sales strategies
- Provide customer service / technical support
- Provide feedback on products, services and area sales potential for market opportunity assessment
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Computer skills to facilitate reporting and opportunity logging.
- Active budgeting to meet agreed sales targets
- Delivery & commissioning of equipment
- Forecast sales budgeting
A suitable remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant, which will include commission incentives, company vehicle, office tools and expenses.
