The role
We are seeking to appoint a passionate educator to teach Science in Years 7-10.
This is a part-time (0.4 FTE) position to commence in Term 2, 2024.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
1. A passion for working with children.
2. A demonstrated ability to create and maintain positive, professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
3. Experience in establishing a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment that extends beyond the classroom.
4. A commitment to the pastoral care and wellbeing of each student.
5. The ability to teach Science in Years 7-10.
6. A strong commitment to the holistic nature of education at an independent school.
7. The ability to be registered as a teacher in Queensland.
The College
