Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate Scientific Officer to become part of a dynamic team that's providing laboratory services and scientific support to staff and students in the Health Group teaching programs. The Scientific Officer will work closely with the Technical Partners Team, Team Leaders, Technical Managers under the supervision of the Team Leader Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Cell Biology and collaboratively with other professional staff applying both expertise and judgement to provide a comprehensive range of technical support within Technical Partners Health.

What we can offer
This is a fixed term (until the 1st November 2024), full time position and is primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus.
The full time equivalent base salary for a Scientific Officer will be HEW 5 range $76,236 - $85,525 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $89,196 - $100,064 per annum.
QualificationsYou will also have completed a Health or Science degree, within the disciplines of Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry in Biological Systems, Cells, Tissues and Regulation or Genes and Diseases, with relevant laboratory experience; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
