Job description
About the role
At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive. We're making this happen by improving the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our customers so they can achieve incredible things- whether they're buying a home, building a business or saving for things big or small.
We give our Home Loan customers the best possible experience by offering simple and flexible options throughout their journey with us. This means that we work hard to create, produce, and manage our home loan products and the experiences that come with them.
We're dedicated to making the home loan process as easy and enjoyable as possible!
As a Scrum Master, you'll be an informal leader for your team, guiding them towards improved performance and collaboration. You'll work closely with the team to identify areas for improvement and support them in delivering high-quality products. In addition, you'll have a broader perspective, seeking to positively influence activities outside the immediate team when relevant. The aim is to foster a productive work environment that enables the team to function at an optimal level and deliver valuable outcomes.
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
Role Type: 12-month Fixed Term opportunity
Schedule: Full Time
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
5+ years of experience working in Agile environments, ideally in organisations that have transitioned from SDLC/Waterfall to Agile delivery.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in Agile, Waterfall/SDLC, and hybrid delivery approaches.
Extensive experience with various facilitation techniques that enhance team collaboration and productivity, leading to improved team morale.
Practical experience in customising delivery frameworks, tools, and operating rhythms/models based on the local context.
Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira & Confluence is essential, along with experience implementing data and evidence-based approaches to measure team performance and success.
Experience coaching and educating team members on complexity-based estimation, incremental planning, and work breakdown structures.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills. At ANZ a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we'd love to hear from you.
Why join us?
There's something special about being part of ANZ. From the moment you join us, you're part of a team working towards a common goal: improving the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.
But it's not just our customers who'll feel your impact. You'll feel it too. Because at ANZ, you'll have the resources and community you need to take the next big step in your career, towards even bigger things in the future.
We offer a range of benefits tailored to the countries in which we operate including Health and Wellbeing programs and flexible working arrangements.
You'll also enjoy working in a diverse and inclusive workplace where the different backgrounds, perspectives and life experiences of our people are celebrated. We encourage you to talk to us about any adjustments you may require to our recruitment process or the role itself.
