SalaryOur client AGL are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join them on a contract basis in Melbourne. This will be in a hybrid working environment and for an initial six months contract working on a really large program of work in the Telco space with a good likelihood to extend for longer.
As a Scrum Master you will take charge of leading and facilitating one or more scrum teams, steering agile practices from inception through to delivery and ongoing operations. Your pivotal role involves fostering a culture of high performance and innovation, ensuring that product roadmaps align seamlessly with customer and business value. We are dedicated to creating autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams through the effective implementation of Lean/Agile principles.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrated leadership in agile product delivery teams, applying various Agile methodologies.
- Digital Focus: Strong Scrum Master experience with a keen focus on digital projects.
- Agile Frameworks: In-depth knowledge of one or more Agile frameworks, with a preference for experience in Scaled Agile within an enterprise.
- Enterprise Navigation: Capable of navigating an enterprise environment to deliver successful outcomes.
- Coaching Experience: Proven experience in coaching teams to deliver using scrum.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong, multi-level stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Ceremony Mastery: Capability to drive effective team ceremonies including stand-ups, showcases, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Agile Passion: Genuine passion for Scaled Agile mindset, values, and behaviors, with a sense of pride and achievement in team success and improvement.
- Team Focus: Strong team focus with excellent organization and scheduling skills.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Additional Skills (preferred):
- Awareness and understanding of design thinking.
- Familiarity with the double diamond approach to human-centered design and its application within agile teams.
- Experience in leading and facilitating agile inceptions for initiatives and features.
