About the Role
Our client's Office of the Chief Information Officer is spearheading transformative initiatives to enhance the government organisation through innovative ICT solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join their passionate multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in elevating project delivery to new heights, leveraging your expertise in agile methodologies and Salesforce-based solutions.
Duties
- Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, progress updates, and retrospectives.
- Develop and manage a release calendar for Business As Usual (BAU) releases, ensuring alignment with project and business activities.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and quality assurance of support releases, identifying and mitigating associated risks.
- Collaborate closely with QA and Business teams to uphold release quality standards.
- Act as a liaison between development teams and business units, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of objectives.
- Maintain adherence to audit procedures and protocols, while documenting release processes and schedules.
- Contribute to regular BAU support release activities as directed by the Director.
- Manage backlog, sprints, blockers, and releases effectively.
- Cultivate strong relationships with support team members and stakeholders, promoting streamlined adoption of delivery processes.
- Provide reporting to management on ticket volume, statuses, and trends.
- 3–5 years of experience in the ICT industry, with a focus on technical team leadership and Agile SAFe SDLC.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Proficiency in coaching agile methodologies, techniques, systems, and tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence team culture and drive continual improvement.
- Experience with the Salesforce Ecosystem.
- Certification in Scrum Master, ITIL, or Agile SAFe.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Enthusiasm for accessible design and development practices.
- Hybrid role: 2 days in the office (Directorate day and one day of your choosing).
- Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates.
- Must be an Australian Citizen and either hold or be willing to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
