YOUR ROLE
Our Engineering Excellence function within Technology & Operations is looking for a SDLC and Governance Manager to join its leadership team.
As the SDLC and Governance Manager, your responsibilities include establishing, enforcing, and measuring compliance to technical controls, engineering policies and standards within the organization. You'll lead product owners, business analysts, and engineers in developing, publishing and maintaining extensible “paved road” CI/CD pipelines that embed SDLC controls, for use by engineering teams across the organisation. These pipelines will provide an automated, consistent, and secure method for deploying software assets across all environments.
Additionally, you'll oversee the collection, publication and reporting of DORA metrics aimed at measuring and enhancing the DevSecOps maturity of engineering teams across IAG. Collaboration with managers from Engineering Community & Culture and Engineering Tooling & Platforms is essential to drive sustainable engineering practices and ensure that IAG maintains a leading position in engineering excellence within the industry.
This is a full-time permanent role, open for the Sydney and Melbourne location.
ABOUT YOU
You have experience with the implementation of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes in large organisations, ensuring compliance with technology controls that reflect industry standards and best practices. You also possess the following:
- Several years’ experience working in or around technology teams within large organisations.
- Ability to navigate the risk, governance and control landscape of large organisations.
- Solid knowledge of DORA metrics and the benefits they bring to the engineering practice in large organisations.
- Ability to engage with internal and external senior stakeholders.
- Ability to design and manage the rollout of strategic programs for 1000+ people.
- Ability to manage a diverse and high performing team across several business lines.
