About the Role
They are currently seeking a Manager, Terms & Conditions to join their growing team in Parramatta with some flexibility to work remotely from home. This an estimated 6month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
The Common Terms & Conditions contract is a new contract which will be rolled out to Aboriginal Community Housing providers. This contract will include updated clauses, insurance recommendations, financial data considerations and GST advice concerning concurrent leases. With the contract set to be released within the next few months and expressions of interest run 3 times in the next financial year
Responsibilities
- Review and revise current draft contract terms and conditions
- Liaise with Legal team to amend legal terminology
- Undertake consultation with Aboriginal Community Housing Providers
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder engagement, facilitating engagement, cohesion, collaboration and partnerships
- Understand and breakdown GST implications in the contract
- Addition of concurrent leases with advice from legal team
- Strategic oversight on Executive issues pertaining to this contract, highlighting interdependencies
- Interpretation of financial statements and ensuring financial compliance of Aboriginal Community Housing Providers
- Respond to urgent ministerial queries and contentious issues
- Travel to Dubbo, Coffs Harbour and across Sydney Metropolitan region quarterly to consult and partner with the Aboriginal Community Housing Provider sector
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
About You
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional, resilient and determined
- Passionate and Empathetic nature towards Indigenous initiatives
- Solid conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
Requirements
- Tertiary Qualifications in Law, Finance, Business or an equivalent field
- CA or CPA Qualifications
- Demonstrated Legal and Compliance background
- Previous lease and tenancy contract experience
- Indigenous or Community Services Sector experience essential
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Valid Drivers licence and ability to travel throughout NSW
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
