Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) is an independent non-selective school in the Anglican tradition that caters to approximately 1,300 students. The Role
The School is looking for a passionate and professional individual to teach year 7-10 Science with Senior Environmental Science in year 11 and 12 (preferred). Applicants who do not have experience teaching Environmental Science are welcome to apply, please specify your preferred science subjects in your application.
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity to commence no later than Term 2, 2024 (29 April).
The ability to inspire students through engaging and challenging teaching is essential. Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, the International Baccalaureate (MYP and/or DP) and the BSSS Programmes would be highly regarded.

Appropriate academic qualifications and teacher training, as well as a sound understanding of current educational trends are required.
All teaching staff members are expected to take part in the whole life of the School including participation in pastoral care and involvement in co-curricular School activities.
