Details: Under the direction of the Director, the Security and Access Officer will be responsible for:
- provisioning security levels and roles for the Digital Health Record.
- coordinating security template and role updates, including the establishment of a security change control process.
- coordinating security-related activity across physical (buildings, grounds), infrastructure (network, servers, operation system) and the application (vendor or non-vendor) teams.
- working with implementation teams to design system-level access.
- creating user records and mapping them to templates built by Digital Health Record Analysts.
- creating appropriate shared security classifications which do not have specific application ownership.
- creating and maintaining procedures to activate, deactivate and update user records.
- undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the Digital Health Record Program or Division.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
- This role requires you to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance, which will be sponsored by the ACT Health Directorate. In order to be eligible for an NV1 security clearance, you must be an Australian citizen. If you are not successful in obtaining a Security clearance, your employment in the role will not commence. If already commenced, your employment will be terminated.
- Aptitude to perform the role, as measured by the Epic aptitude test or achieved Epic certification (no written response necessary – a list or Epic certifications should be provided or an aptitude test will be undertaken by shortlisted applicants that are not Epic certified as part of the selection process).
- It is a requirement that this position obtain a vendor accreditation with Epic. Costs for the vendor accreditation including training and testing to achieve such accreditation will be supported by ACT Health.
Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
