About the role

Our company is expanding & we are seeking an individual who is passionate about the professional installation of integrated technology and is available for an immediate start. Experience is absolutely essential as the successful candidate will work with a highly skilled team & be responsible for many aspects of the installation process. The role of an Security Technican in our organisation requires the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, above all else you must show responsibility and have pride in your workmanship.  Passion for technology and the industry is as important as your ability to enjoy what you do & relate to the people you work with.

This is an important position within our organisation with an appropriate remuneration package based on your skills and experience.

Skills and experience

• Currently or previously had a proven track record in installation and/or programming in the electronic security and audio visual technology integration field
• An ability to effectively fault-find and rectify system malfunctions
• Well-rounded knowledge of construction sites
• Effective communication and attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and well presented
• You must be reliable, dependable, trustworthy & honest.
• A passion for technology, drive, energy and a hunger for results
• A refined appreciation and understanding of working in prestige properties.
• A desire to learn and embrace new technologies.
• Confident use of tools & equipment.

The following prerequisites would be an advantage to your application:

• Open Cabling licence
• White Card
• Security licence
• Basic Tools & Equipment
• Excellent computer skills
• Programming experience
