About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Project Support Officer to join our growing Perth office. This is a varied role that requires a strong Administrator/team coordinator to provide Project Support services such as project set-up, financial reporting, purchase orders and invoicing. The role also involves personal assistant support to the WA Division Manager.
Responsibilities & Experience
- Support Project, Lead and Principal Engineers in project meetings in information analysis and document management activities
- Report formatting and word processing of letters, reports, proposals, and other project-related documentation
- Undertake project controls coordination on a portfolio of projects
- Set up and manage proposals and project files in the designated business systems
- Collaborate with finance on client invoices, as required
- General administration, e.g. binding, collation of reports and filing
- Personal assistant support for the Division Manager, including monthly executive report collation, travel bookings, calendar and client management
- Financial support: generation of purchase orders, financial reporting, reconciliations and processing of reimbursements
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience in a project coordination role, ideally within engineering environment
- Highly skilled in the use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and planning capability
- Strong interpersonal skills written and verbal
- Commitment to high performance and a strong client focus
- Demonstrated ability to determine priorities, organise and co-ordinate work and meet strict deadlines;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, without the need for close supervision in a busy environment.
