Communications Technician - High Security Data Centre

Roles like this don't come up very often!We are looking for a Communication Technician to join our Sydney delivery team, working in High SecurityData Centre environments. Locations are in Eastern Creek and Erskine Park.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, operating, and maintaining communications networks and equipment.
• Installing telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays, and alarm and fire-suppression system.
• Documents network by labeling and routing equipment and cables and recording configuration diagrams and specifications.
• Troubleshooting and repairing outages, testing network back-up procedures, and updating documentation.
• Listening to and resolving concerns and answering questions.

QualificationsRequired:

• Australian IT and / or communication Tertiary qualification or equivalent.
• One to three years of related IT/telecommunications experience.
• Experience working in High Security Data Centre environments or equivalent - Highly sought after
