Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong experience as a Security Engineer with a solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
- Proficiency in security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
- Experience with threat modelling and risk assessment procedures.
- Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.
- Knowledge of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are highly regarded.
