- This position will require regular intrastate travel.
- Manage and implement security services at the Courts by:
- Ensuring Court contracted Security Officers meet the operational daily needs of the Courts by effectively managing a State-wide security team.
- Managing the on-going development and execution of appropriate security plans to ensure the safety and security of all Magistrates, Court staff, users of the Courts and the public.
- Undertake annual security risk assessments of the Courts to mitigate risks, hazards and threats.
- Coordinating the appointments of Security Officers, Supervisors and Managers under the Court Security Act 2017, and ensuring compliance and KPIs are met by contracted staff.
- Operate and oversee management of the Court’s CCTV systems and other operational equipment.
The Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
