Purpose of the role
- To ensure implementation of security regime across the cluster of Visa Application Centre’s which he/she is responsible for.
- To monitor the security policies and conduct investigations.
- To ensure overall security and safety of company assets, personnel & visitors at the corporate office as well as Visa application centres.
Profile – Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure all critical service levels are met & contractual obligations complied to, with deviations reported through incident report framework.
- Ensure compliance with VFS Global defined security policies and procedures applicable to the role.
- Plan & monitor security arrangements involving preparation of security plans, deployment & training of security personnel within the given region, etc.
- Support/ Generate periodic Reports and details for the MIS. Send MIS reports on performance indicators. Ensure timely reporting and handling of security issues.
- Maintain logs of Critical Service Level fulfillment and send accurate MIS reports.
- Assist in carrying out investigations/ Inquiries as mandated by the management
- Plan the resource allocation & budgeting of security equipment and measures for the given region.
- Ensure appropriate protective security awareness, training, and education programs are implemented to maintain high Security awareness levels among employees.
- Advise regional management on the prevalent geo-political scenario and provide risk mitigations in the region responsible for.
- Liaise with local Government authorities eg. police, emergency services for CS & Risk issues.
- Liaise as the CS & Risk Single Point of Contact for security deliverables with governmental clients.
Knowledge & Key Skills:
- 4– 6 years’ previous work experience
- Planning, Organizing, Motivating, Directing and Controlling
- Adaptability and presence of mind to handle customer queries and complaints
- Safeguard company assets.
- Prepare budget for security equipment and guarding area of responsibility.
