Position: Static Security Officer
Location: Benowa, Gold Coast
Employment Type: Full-time, 8-week rolling roster
Your Role: As a Static Security Officer, you'll be the backbone of our security operations in for this client.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining Site Security: You'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our site in Benowa during night shifts, utilizing your keen observation skills and attention to detail.
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills are key. Whether it's reporting incidents, collaborating with our clients team members, or interacting with visitors, your ability to communicate clearly and professionally is essential.
- Autonomous Work: While you'll be part of a supportive team, you'll often be working independently during night shifts. Your ability to stay focused, alert, and proactive is crucial to maintaining a secure environment. There are clients’ customers onsite plus their staff, we are there to oversee their security and protect the property.

- Consistent Roster – 8 Week Rolling Roster on a rotation. Shifts will be either 11 hours or 12-hour shifts (All Shifts are Night Shifts). (Monday to Friday Night Shifts are 11-hour Shifts and Saturday and Sunday Nights are 12 Hours)
Requirements:
- Valid QLD Security License
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Flexibility to work on an 8-week rolling roster
- High Attention to detail
- Reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to use our App for rosters, reporting and clocking on and off site.
- Occasional Leave coverage of other staffs shifts
Expected Site Duties:
- Nightly Lockup of Buildings associated with the client premises.
- Site foot Patrols checking on Client Departmental Areas
- Carpark Patrols
- Occasional Dealing with difficult/ Aggressive Customers
- Liaising with onsite Client Manager
- Risk assessments of client property
- Visual deterrent onsite
- Liaising with police/ emergency services.
- Providing regular site reports for our company operations team.
