About the role
The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Compile Reports on a regular basis for MSS Management & the client.
- Physical & electronic site access control and CCTV monitoring.
- Participate in emergency situations are required by the client.
- Generate identification cards for staff members & verify access authorisation.
- Maintain site shift reports.
- Conduct site-based inductions for new staff.
- Conduct foot & vehicle patrols and manage movements of contractors & deliveries to the site.
- Monitor performance, provide feedback & mentor the team on site.
- Identify areas of process improvement to optimise workflow related to Security Operations at the site.
- Ensure compliance with the client site & MSS policies, procedures & safety regulations.
Skills & experience
- Security License and Drivers License
- Willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical for this site-based role
- Control Room Operating experience (desirable)
- Experience in proactively leading and working amongst a team as well as working autonomously
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
