We are currently looking for Security Officers that have experience in shopping centre or corporate security roles. Millennium Security Services Group have a few shopping centres with positions that are available for an immediate start. About the role;
These roles require dedicated Security Officers willing to learn and develop knowledge in site security, building management and fire control systems, under the application of standard operating procedures. Your Role and Responsibilities
- Retail Shopping Centre experienced Security Officers preferred.
- Deliver 5-star customer service to Millennium’s client, tenants and contractors.
- Apply Security risk and hazard management principles.
- Be able to build strong working relationships with clients and local police.
- Deliver the security requirements across the site including effective patrolling and building inspections.
- Attend and manage incidents within the Shopping Centre, including reporting on incidents.
- Confidently provide First-aid and CPR as needed.
About you -
- You have sound decision making skills.
- Flexible and quick to adapt.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Detail orientated.
- Comprehend, analyse and interpret operational documents.
- Establish and review incident reports, emergency event summaries, root cause analysis reports and O&M manuals.
- Ability to develop policies and procedures.
- Proficient in computer systems, ideally with experience in CCTV and electronic reporting systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, ensuring clarity in both two-way radio conversations and written reports.
Requirements
- Reliable Transportation
- 1+ years of experience in a related Security services role, ideally in a retail or corporate commercial environment
- Current Senior First Aid & CPR certificate
- QLD Security License (mandatory)
