The Role:
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse operations, from inventory control and logistics to staff supervision and implementing operational policies.
Your role will be crucial in driving productivity and efficiency improvements, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a seamless supply chain operation. You will ensure the health and safety of all personnel and play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience needed for this position:
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in warehouse management, preferably within the manufacturing or packaging industries. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team are essential. You should also have experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and be proficient in data analysis and performance metrics. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of health and safety is a must.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail; able to identify errors and suggest improvements.
- Can prioritise activities based on changing circumstances.
- Strong computer literacy with knowledge
- Current Forklift license
- Current MR or higher licence desirable
